Aunts are the best

Having Aunts in your life is the best!

My Aunts have (among other things)

- inspired me to be a teacher

- taught me how to make perfect roll out cookies

- sent me magazines to inspire my culinary skills

- taken me shopping

- shared a room with me the night before my wedding and stayed up late talking and laughing

- invited me on cool trips

- sewn me costumes

- cheered for my sports performances

- made hundreds and hundreds of cookies for my wedding

- sharpened my Scrabble and Boggle playing skills

- pinched my cheeks

- built sand castles and collected shells with me

They have been a source of encouragement, inspiration, and so much fun. I can't imagine life without them. And now, my daughter has four wonderful aunts of her own (plus all of her great aunts) to bead necklaces, and dance, rides horses, and bake and laugh with. What a lucky little girl she is.
