Things I will miss

I will miss fresh lemons from my mom's tree.

I will miss taking the lemons she has shared with me,

I will miss squeezing them into juices and ices to share with my friends.

I will miss serving the lemonade to my friends

in the pitcher that belonged to my Grandmother,

that matches the teacups and saucers I bought from

Mary's Beads, Antiques & Junk Shop in Huntsville,

with goodies in the snowflake bowls my Aunt Carol gave me

that match the box that my Aunt Cathy gave me,

unaware of the set she had created.
