Things I will miss

I will miss having Taline cut my hair

Because for the first month after she cuts it, if I blow dry it & spray it lightly w/ an anti-frizz shaping spray, I can go to bed and wake up with it looking like this.









I can also pretty much wash & go, shaping it w with my fingers as it dries while I putter around at home and have it look like this all day. She is amazing. She is worth every penny (and I'm sure she could be charging more).


I will also miss chatting with Taline about motherhood and raising preschoolers and makeup and marriage and food and cooking and architecture. Her friendship is lovely.

I will miss Jahni and his brilliance, both in personality and intelligence. How many 3 year old do you know that can change the batteries on all their electronic toys, and can figure out on their own how to connect the video camera to the tv and play a video. I know some grown ups (initials C.C.)who have a shakey record with those tasks. And how many 3 year olds do you know, that when you say "yes" to their request to push a given button or use some electronic equipment, run back to give you a HUGE thank you hug and kiss completely unprompted by their mother, and say "Carol - you SO NICE!"

I think that I will find a way to make an appointment with Taline anytime I'm back in Southern California.
