Called two dearest friends. We all happened to be folding laundry. All 3 of us.
I had quiet. I had space.
Did some productive work and exchanged emails with a new friend. I wrote:
I'm not watching Peanuts because I'm working on tutoring emails, laundry and choir cd (finally)
working at home all by myself. being at home alone is a delicious luxury - so this is a quickie email and then back to work.
................so you read the blog---ok ----the deal is that Scott is the kind of person who a) doesn't like to talk about things that are in progress b) doesn't like zillions of people asking questions about something he's processing. I like to talk about what I'm processing with a few specific people, but not people that I think have a vested interested in the outcome of my decision or will ask me lots and lots of questions I don't have the answers to even after I tell them I don't have the answers. so - most church people are left out of the loop on this one. now that you're in the loop - his interview is Friday. please pray if you think of it for God to make His will clear, because right now the forecast is fog, fog, and nothing but more fog. so hopefully we'll have things figured out soon. it's surreal to imagine quickly moving to the other side of the country when I've lived here for all my 30 yrs.
book sounds cool - now I'm curious - I worked on my "bad girls" devotions today. I found some of her questions unproductive - I'll elaborate later.
I received a gift from my husband.
I slept.
Sometimes, when you're irritated and frustrated and discouraged, it helps to remember something happy and good that has already happened. Especially when it was so recent. And sometimes it helps to remember:
"My soul, wait in silence for God only. For my hope is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I shall not be shaken."

Um - can any of my Spanish-speaking friends illuminate this for me before I delete it?
this looks like portugese or some other language that is similar to spanish but not spanish. i can't really read it. maybe someone more fluent in spanish than i can discern it. something about i think they are selling a product like dsl or internet service provider or whatever CresentNet is and it's 10 times faster with larger bandwidth and is 20 centavos per hour, more than 2100 cities in Brazil. And they want you to link this website to your blogroll. That's the gist of what I got.
That gift from your husband is gorgeous! And so you!
Aren't those earrings GREAT! Ginkgos - my favorite!
