Emma moments

It's been a hilarious week for Emma - she's been full of fabulous toddler moments.

Here are my top 3:

1) While cuddling in bed, Emma began to stroke and play with my hair. In her dreamy voice she said, "Mama your hair is sooo pretty. It's brown....and gray....."

2) While playing her travel game - an imaginary visit to destination of choice that includes packing her princess suitcase full of random objects and carrying it around the house - Emma said, "Make that high for me, I'm ready to go tripping"

3) While watching American Idol (please don't judge me, we were both sick and ready to just veg out) two of the featured contestants were best friends. Ryan Seacrest must have said, "BEST FRIENDS" about a zillion times. Emma turns to me excitedly and says, "Mommy, those girls are best friends. Mommy, you're MY best friend!"
