A friend asked me this a few weeks ago. Here is our list:
1) Seeing as many friends and family members as possible and relishing every last minute with them. This includes church beach camp, lots of playgroup playdates, family bbq's, lots of coffees and lunches and treats at our favorite one of a kind places with all our favorite people, and even having some of our favorite people stay at our house.
2) Going to the beach whenever we can
3) Keeping our house super clean for potential renters who come for a walk-thru.
4) Organizing, sorting and prepping everything for the move. We are doing our best not to take things we don't need with us, and we need to get the house all prepped for the renters.
5) Travelling - we went to PA for Scott's Grandpa's funeral.
6) Exercising - trying desperately to get into shape and strengthen my back for all the unpacking I will be doing, an uphill battle of interruptions and travelling for the last 4 years that goes something like this: Start working out, yoga routines and running again. Go out of town on short notice. Come home depleted and in worse shape than when you started. Try again to start work out regimen, but family gets sick, or husband goes out of town, so take 10 days off, etc. etc....
7) Planning for our new life and house, including appliance choices, church options, preschool options.
I have LOTS of pictures over in the gallery, documenting all the fun times we've been having, and none of the work we've been doing. Hmm.....maybe I need some photos of my organized linen cabinet, super cleaned out kitchen, emptied attic space, cleaned off mail table.........
